"Mary: Receiver and Proclaimer of Mercy!" by Fr. Victor Blazovich. Mary well-Educated in the Old Testament stories of God's mercy, and "full of grace" (Lk1) herself, knew deeply of the Lord's mercy as she traveled to assist Elizabeth, her cousin, with the birth of John the Baptist. She gave the example of how to cross the boundaries of natural living, to "go into the peripheries" as Pope Francis advises us, to bring God's mercy to those in need. The Day of Prayer begins with a Rosary, includes two conferences, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a Mass and ends with Adoration. Father will enroll those who wish in the Brown Scapular of our Lady of Mount Carmel at this Day of Prayer.
