In response to Pope Francis' request for a day of prayer and fasting on Saturday, September 7 (Vigil of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary), we opened our convent doors to all who were able to join us in praying for the nation of Syria. Adoration began at 10am (7pm Rome time) and coincided with the prayer vigil the Holy Father was holding in St. Peter's Square.
It was wonderful to see so many join us throughout the day as we concluded our time together with Benediction at 3pm. Let us continue to pray, through the intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace, that like her, hearts will be receptive to God's grace, and peace will return to all nations, peoples and families.
